The first level of the ACCA course has three papers.

The papers

1. Business and Technology (BT): organisations, governance, ethics and technology.
2. Management Accounting (MA): costing, budgeting and decision tools.
3. Financial Accounting (FA): double entry and financial statements.

A study sequence

• Start with FA and MA together to build accounting basics
• Take BT alongside or after
• Practise questions after every topic
• Use progress tests and the mock marathon before exams
